Honda Malaysia recently launched its latest model of the BR-V. A series of changes were experienced by the 2020 BR-V model, starting from the exterior and interior.
They launched a refresher model after three months of receiving orders. The hope is that it can excite the SUV market. So what are the links in the two units?
Price The most important thing is the official price on the road. In the neighboring country, the new model is sold in two variants. Consumers there must exchange RM89,900 (equivalent to Rp.296 million) to get a BR-V 1.5L with an E badge.
Meanwhile, the BR-V 1.5L V was sold for RM 96,900 or Rp. 323 million. Being here, it is sold in three variants: S, E, and Prestige. The latest Honda BR-V prices are IDR 248 million, IDR 274 million, and IDR 291 million, respectively.
Display Honda BR-V

Cabin
Inside the 2020 BR-V facelift, there are new standard features such as speaker tweeters, rear lighting, cabin filters, digital air conditioning, keyless entry, and a start-stop button.
In the V trim, consumers are given a seven-inch audio head unit system (upgraded from the old 6.1 inches). Meanwhile, the BR-V Prestige in RI uses an 8-inch floating capacitive touchscreen monitor.

The version there gets synthetic leather seats with red accents in the middle. Then the gear knob with red stitching. Whereas here it is not available.
Remarkably, the BR-V Malaysia is equipped with paddles shift on the top variant. So it really helps the driver to shift gears more practically.
Other Features
Then the equivalent security tools. For the safety of the rider, the Honda BR-V is built on the G-CON + ACE ™ frame structure with Side Impact Beam.
The point is to reduce collisions when an accident occurs. ABS + EBD braking system, Vehicle Start Assist (VSA) to maintain vehicle stability.

Engine Honda BR-V
The Honda BR-V is still equipped with a 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine that produces a maximum power of 120 PS at 6,600 rpm. Then the optimal torque is 145 Nm at 4,600 rpm. For the Malay market, only CVT transmission is available.
Being here has the option of a six-speed manual and CVT. Finally, they both have a ground distance of 201 mm, which is sufficient for treading various terrain roads.
